Normally wouldn’t say anything, but they are so awesome I had to share. Had a small getogethor with my parents, brother & girlfriend, and grandma and grandpa for my birthday. Not techincally today, but whatever. We went to Northern Thai in Kitchener (awesomest thai in town) then back to my parents place. My mum had baked me a vegan vanilla cake with pink rasberry frosting. Was good. Anyways, two of the awesome gifts I received were …well awesome.

A couple weeks ago I was shopping, I think I was picking up a tie, and spotted a gaggle of swatches for sale. Me being a sucker for swatches, was drawn in like a bumblebee to a flower and just had to get one. (I should make a mention that a week before the aforementioned shopping trip I had sent in my renewal for my club membership, which also comes with a watch. I hadn’t heard anything back in regards to the renewal so had assumed it had gotten lost, hence I would not be getting this years watch.) Inevitably, I couldn’t decide between two of them, so ended up getting both. THEN, when i came home from work this past Tuesday, I had a notice telling me to pick up a parcel. That parcel was the club watch I thought i had lost. So four new watches in three weeks :DNote, you can click on the images for bigger versions.

     Ligne de Vie (2001 SS, SFK119)   And the new Club WatchOnce Again Again (2008 SS, GZ191)Once Again Again is supposed to be in reference to the watch Swatch made in 2000 that was called Once Again (Details can be found here). Once agains lineage was teh gradual progression of a watch that was designed in 1983, hence the celebratory watch in 2008 at the 25 year anniversary. This watch was designed byNorma Jeanne.
